Lancashire College, No 9 hosted the Chief Adept, R.W. Fra. Douglas C. Slimming VIII° & 9° and a Provincial team for the installation of V W Fra Luther Williams VII° on Friday 1st November. Two Theoricus grades were also worked and the Fratres enjoyed a superb Festive Board.

The Provincial Suffragan, Rt W Fra S White VIII° was in attendance at the installation meeting of Lord Kenlis College to install V.W. Fra B Hage VII° as Celebrant for the coming year. He takes over from V W Fra. G J Davies VII° who becomes IP Celebrant.

A very successful Provincial meeting was held at Wyrebank Masonic Centre where a number of Fraters received V⁰, VI⁰ and VII⁰ degrees at the preceding second order meeting. We were honoured with the attendance of the Supreme Magus, M.W. Fra. A. Llewellyn IX⁰ ACR who presided over an 8⁰ ceremony and then attended the Provincial Meeting and the Festive Board afterwards.

The Chief Adept, R.W. Fra. D. C. Slimming VIII⁰ & 9⁰, repeated, in his address, his mission statement that he “dared to be different” and unveiled both the new Provincial Logo and a competition for the best paper in the Province - which will win the annual Wynn Westcott trophy.
